Each member of your sales team brings a unique set of skills to your business. Some have strong sales experience, while others are in various stages of fine tuning their techniques. Video can serve as virtual member of your sales force by providing a well crafted message or consistent product information to your customers.
Video can’t replace the one-on-one contact of a company representative, but it should be used as a tool. It helps to establish credibility and provide details better than a brochure.
Not only does video help your company send out the same message to every customer, but it also offers your sales person another opportunity to contact the customer. In their follow-up email, they can direct them to an online video that may address a question or concern they may have which can help the sales person establish credibility for the company as an expert in their industry.
The video below is an example of using video to maintain a consistent message to clients. An Akron Dermatology office wanted to make sure that their patients were each getting the same usage information regarding their skin care products. We videotaped several videos for the different product lines featuring a very knowledgable office assistant. The videos are shown to their patients in the office on iPads.
